In my opinion, this is the best jokbal in Sydney! We ordered half spicy, half original, and both were incredible—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The meal came with a generous spread of sides that really completed the experience. Don’t forget to order their cold noodles too—the combo of cold, chewy noodles with rich jokbal is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors!
Was recommended to try from a Korean and it lived up to the hype. Literally there for the jokbal or pork hock. I went wit the original but the waitress suggested we try half and half and we are thankful for her advice. It’s one of those things that just taste really satisfying and hits the spot. Also ordered the rice ball which was tasty.
Food has great portion and is delicious. We two people can’t finish it even if we desperately wanted to as it’s too large size. Maybe it can feed 4 of us. Overall, it’s fantastic and authentic.
This is the best Korean-style jokbal I’ve had! I prefer the original flavor over the spicy one. There’s a wide variety of side dishes, and the restaurant thoughtfully provides a rotating tray for easy access! The noodles in the cold noodles are chewy, and the sauce is amazing. The steamed egg is silky smooth with perfectly balanced seasoning. If you're planning to dine in Lidcombe, you definitely have to try this place!
Lovely pork hock plate, the taste was great and portion was so big, you can mix between the spicy and the original one. You can bring home if you cant finish. 70$/plate but you can share like for 2-3 person.
Delicious food at a decent price - the entire meal in the attached photo was $70 and two people barely managed to finish it. I recommend going with 3-4 people and ordering the main plate. Side dishes were excellent and the lazy Susan style table is a bonus! It can get quite busy and even though it's a small restaurant (only five tables I think), it can be hard to get the attention of the waiter.
The restaurant is small and popular. The menu is simple and price is affordable. We tried two sets, we recommended No. 1+ No.2. The spicy one was yummy. With No.3 because it is cold, and you need to mixing pork trotter with salad, after you mixed together, it is quite watery because of cucumber, pork trotter was not tasty as chewy as much. Sesame rice ball is good but a little bit of oily after you made a ball. Service is good and fast.
We went on a Thursday night, lined up for around 20mins before getting a seat. It was quite busy. We order half hot and cold, the portion was huge for 2 and very delicious. Super friendly staffs
